Hi there! I’m the founder of DM&VA Solutions — a one-woman digital marketing and creative support service designed to help businesses grow, stand out, and thrive online.

This blog is a little space I’ve created to share my thoughts, projects, tips, and tools as I grow in the digital space. I thought it would only make sense to kick things off by introducing who I am and what I do.

Who I Am

I’m a creative digital marketer with a passion for graphic design, storytelling, and 3D creation. I currently work remotely as a Social Guru at Digital Language Partners, where I lead their digital presence and brand storytelling across multiple platforms.

Since starting, I’ve significantly boosted their social media presence, introduced new channels to their strategy, and contributed to key brand communications. It’s a role that lets me blend creativity, strategy, and communication — three things I love.

What I Love Creating

My real passion lies in design — whether it’s a striking logo, an eye-catching Instagram carousel, or a short-form promo video. I use:

Canva Pro – for polished social media visuals and brand kits
Medibang Paint – for digital illustrations and artistic design
Nomad Sculpt – my latest obsession for creating 3D models and visual concepts

I’m actively improving my 3D design skills, with the dream of becoming a professional graphic designer who can create not just flat visuals, but immersive, engaging experiences.

As a self-taught creative, I’m always testing new tools. Alongside the apps I already use, here are a few free design apps that are great alternatives or additions to Canva and Medibang:

Gravit Designer – browser-based alternative to Illustrator
Pixlr – easy-to-use online photo editor with advanced features
Photopea – great Photoshop alternative with full layer support
Crello (now VistaCreate) – similar to Canva with great templates

Exploring different platforms keeps my skill set sharp, and helps me offer clients more flexibility and creative solutions.
